Satyal Publication's Teacher Training Project (SPTP) was established by Satyal Publication in 2002 AD as part of its commitment to improving the quality of education in Nepal. This transformative initiative was envisioned by Late Ajay Kumar Satyal, the founding father of Satyal Publication, whose passion for education and social upliftment laid the foundation for this groundbreaking program.

As the first privately initiated, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)-based teacher training initiative in Nepal, SPTP set a new standard for educational development in the private sector. The primary objective of SPTP is to equip teachers with modern pedagogical skills and techniques, enabling them to create engaging and effective learning environments for students. By focusing on capacity-building, SPTP ensures that teachers are not only well-prepared academically but also adept at addressing the diverse needs of their classrooms.

Over the years, SPTP has successfully trained more than 30,000 teachers from across Nepal, including educators from remote and underserved regions. The training programs have positively impacted thousands of schools, leading to improved learning outcomes and student engagement. SPTP has gained recognition for its contribution to strengthening Nepal’s education system and empowering educators at the grassroots level.
